The Ascension Amateur Radio Club is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of people who share a common interest in the advancement of amateur radio, community service, scientific education and emergency communications. AARC is one of the most active clubs in the region and one of only three ARRL Special Service Clubs in the State.
Club meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 19:00 local at the Prairieville Fire Department Training Center at 14517 LA Highway 73. Anyone interested in the amateur radio hobby is welcome to attend. Our meetings always have a program that showcases the many aspects of amateur radio.
